Blog Contest Deadline is approaching

Okay guys, the deadline to have your layouts uploaded to our shutterfly site is fast approaching. The winner will receive a FREE scrapbook weekend with Scraphappy Retreats!! This is a $150 value! The only thing I have ever won from a blog contest is a free t-shirt! We know that all of you (especially past retreat goers) are great scrapbookers and have many layouts to choose from. So what are you waiting for?? Find your very best scrapbook layout, take a picture, and upload it to the shutterfly website. It is really that simple.

May Blog Contest

If you've come to one of our retreats you know how much we love games and giving away prizes. So we've decided to extend that to our blog. For the rest of this month show us what you've been working on lately and we'll award our favorite layout or project with a free scrapbook retreat! That saves you $150 on one of our all inclusive weekends. Simply go to our scrapbook gallery at bescraphappy.shutterfly.com and upload a picture to our May Blog Contest Section. (Limit one per person) After you've uploaded your photo click on the picture and add your comments. The three things we want to know for each layout: Your name and email address, a description of the layout and products used, and do you blog and if so where. That's it. One layout and you're done and one your way to a fabulous weekend in Big Canoe. We will post and notify winners by June 1.

May 1st-3rd Retreat

What a great weekend!! It was rainy but who really cares because most of the time was spent scrapping. Darlene, Marsha, Kristy and Melissa helped make this weekend so fun and relaxing.

Friday night we had a lot of fun playing games and decorating Mr. Potato Head. Saturday we played another great round of gossip and found out many interesting things. First, never take Melissa to a bar. Second, if you want to know about answering customer service questions for 2 TOTALLY different organizations, ask Kristy. Finally, we learned that Darlene would have made a great doctor and to never allow Marsha to housesit. Dressing up was so much fun and Darlene really enjoyed wearing a tiara.

We had so much fun and learned about all the great scrapbooking websites available. Please post your favorites on the message boards at our shutterfly site.

April 24-26 Retreat

Wow, what a great time we had last weekend with Bonnie, Teresa, Gwenn, Kelly, Kathy, Linda and Deb. Friday night was "Tater Tot Crop" and everyone seemed to enjoy dressing up in their western wear. Gwenn and Kelly, aka "Taco and Paco" held everyone up at gunpoint, but we all came out unscathed. Saturday, Laura, Kelly and Gwenn had a little adventure on the "nature walk!!" It was great weather to eat on the deck and hike in the mountains. Saturday night was "Putting on the Glitz Crop." We all dressed in our formal wear and had a great time learning new things about one another. Walter (Kathy) had us all laughing and Deb does look like a certain young lady on some yummy snacks!! Everyone had a blast playing games, winning prizes, and having a great time. We would like to thank everyone again for making last weekend so special. Please feel free to come back anytime!!
